In the 90’s and early XXI century this house was severely affected by the termite plague that hit most of the properties of this city, having been completely degraded after the death of Guilhermina Amaral. Sancha Cruz, daughter of Maria de Fatima, has now the role, along with her husband, of returning life and joy to this house, recovering the old building and increasing its area to transform into the current space.

A Hostel that intends to welcome all the guests with the same joy with which all friends and family have been welcomed in the numerous parties between family and friends, especially after the various returns from Captain Isaías’ extended trips to the overseas or during the Sanjoaninas celebrations.

My Angra
Charming House

My Angra Charming House is a family-owned building from the XIX century that was acquired in the early 20th century by one of the owner’s great-grandfather, when he returned after a period of emigration in the USA.

Guilhermina Amaral, the daughter of the first owner, lived here all her life marrying to Captain Isaías Amaral, a patented military soldier. From this union was born Maria de Fátima Amaral who was born in this house and lived here until she got married.

In São Pedro Street you will also find other services essential for the day to day, such as local supermarkets, cafés and restaurants. It is also this location that allows My Angra Charming House to offer its guests an interior patio and a green area with fruit trees, plants and herbs to season the dishes you can cook in our kitchen.
